We are a secure site, but know some of you may have concerns about transacting via the Internet; therefore we offer several methods of payment options - all of which ensure absolute security. By offering our customers a choice of ordering processes our goal is to ensure that you are comfortable doing business with us on the Internet.
African Encounters currently accepts personal check or money order, VISA, MasterCard
and American Express through PayPal. We will be adding other payment options very soon.

PLEASE NOTE that currently we are only able to accept postal money orders denominated in U.S. dollars or checks denominated in U.S. dollars and drawn on a U.S. bank . Checks must have a valid nine-digit bank routing number (ABA code) micro-encoded on the bottom of the check. Paying by check does slow down your order somewhat, as we don't ship your order until your funds clear. If you are in the United States, paying by personal check typically delays your order about seven to ten days.

Shipping/Delivery
Most of our paintings are shipped via US Postal Service Priority Mail. Please allow 7-10 business days for processing your order, additional processing time may be necessary for limited editions. If an item is not available to ship within the 7-10 business day time frame, you will be notified by e-mail with the estimated ship date.

If you are shipping merchandise overseas, or to Canada or Mexico, you are in luck! Many of our items are available for international delivery. Since shipping varies from country to country, please

Sales Tax
African Encounters is required to collect sales tax on shipments to California residents. Hey, we're only following the rules! Sales tax will be collected on the merchandise subtotal only. This amount will be added to your merchandise total and reflected on your credit card charge.
